About Me

The art of Design has always been a driving force in my life and in my education. Prior to attending Syracuse University, I spent a summer in Greece as a foreign exchange student. My time spent in this ancient country cemented my passion for design and architecture. While studying Advertising Design and Art History at Syracuse, I spent a semester at the SU campus in London, England, another design inspiring journey. From childhood I’ve looked at objects and products with curious eyes. “Why is it shaped like that? What was the inspiration behind this? What makes it work so well?” Fine Art, photography, sculpture, product design, graphics, interiors, theater, ancient structures to modern architecture, all inspire me daily to create and to rejoice in the success of my fellow creators. From inception to realization, I truly love the process of bringing a design to life.

Upon graduation, I embarked on a career in dimensional design as a Visual Merchandising Design Manager for the May Company. While working at Sibley’s and Kaufmann’s, I lead a team of designers opening numerous flagship stores throughout New York State. After three years with the firm, I moved to Orlando to begin a career with The Walt Disney Co. I have designed signature Disney holiday décor for Holiday Services, I brought classic Disney animation to life while creating show environments for Feature Animation, I have designed traveling marketing displays for The Disney Cruise Line, I created theatrical scenic design for Entertainment and designed entire corporate conference themes for The Disney Event Group (DEG). My work with DEG has offered me the chance to partner and design for Fortune 500 companies worldwide. Some of my clients have included Sony, IBM, US Bank, Humana, Shaw Industries, Bath and Body Works, Dominos, Met Life, Grainger, Liz Claiborne, Google and countless others. Since 2002, I has also been responsible for the stage designs of the National and World Cheerleading Competitions which air on ESPN throughout the year. I’ve also had the opportunity to create interior environments for my Disney partners throughout WDW.

In 1997, my passion for architecture and interior design was realized when I began renovating and building residential properties in metro Orlando. I have designed complete interior refurbishments, kitchens, baths, pools, furniture and more for each of these 20+ projects. My personal residence has been published in four periodicals and a variety of print and television advertisements. Publications include; Backyard Essentials, Homes & Estates, Robb Report and Tupperware catalogs.
